Position Summary:
The Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care to pregnant women before, during, and after childbirth. The RN monitors maternal and fetal well-being, assists with labor and delivery, and supports patients and families throughout the birthing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs during labor
• Assess patient condition and progress of labor
• Administer medications and IVs as prescribed
• Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures
• Provide support and education to patients and families
• Perform fetal heart monitoring (FHM)
• Manage pain relief methods, including epidurals
• Respond to obstetric emergencies (e.g., fetal distress)
• Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for mother and newborn
